PTW Architects' creation is a testament to the transformative power of design. The building's unique form, inspired by the concept of 'frame, mass, balcony, and trims,' skillfully captures the essence of Taichung's future city image. The design's strength lies in its rhythmic composition, achieved through a balanced 1:1:1 spatial structure, creating a harmonious proportional relationship that is both aesthetically pleasing and functionally sound.
Functionality meets elegance in the design's realization. Utilizing materials such as ivory aluminum cladding and various glazed tiles, the building presents a facade that is both modern and timeless. The use of 5 plus 5mm laminated glass not only ensures safety but also contributes to the building's sleek appearance. The thoughtful material selection underscores PTW Architects' commitment to green building practices and low-carbon sustainability.
The project's technical specifications are impressive, boasting a base area of over 15,000 square meters and a total floor area exceeding 147,000 square meters. The structure spans 28 floors above ground and includes four subterranean levels, housing a plethora of shared facilities. These amenities, ranging from a children's playroom to a CAFE BAR, are designed to foster community and enhance the quality of life for residents.
PTW Architects' design philosophy extends beyond aesthetics to the functionality of shared spaces. The project's resort-class facilities are crafted with clear lines and geometries that not only emphasize functionality but also showcase the building's landmark aesthetics. This approach creates open and fluid interior spaces, allowing for a dynamic and versatile environment that enhances community vibrancy.
Embarking on this ambitious project, PTW Architects faced the challenge of designing a sustainable community space that felt intimate despite its grand scale. The team succeeded in creating a shared space that not only meets functional needs but also fosters communication and sharing among residents, all while maintaining a distinctive character.
"Future Is Boundless" stands as a symbol of PTW Architects' vision for a future city, embracing technological advancements and fostering a sense of community. This Iron A' Design Award-winning project is not just a building; it's a milestone in the city's development, a beacon of architectural evolution, and a testament to the transformative potential of thoughtful design.
